Client Brief

Our French clients were re-locating from Paris to London due to work and family reasons. He works in the city so transport links were important, as well as proximity to the French Lycée school in Parsons Green for their daughter. They were chain-free and were looking to purchase a modern, spacious 4-bedroom family home in Fulham, with a large garden, close to the park and requiring no major refurbishment works. They had a budget of up to £2M, however they were hoping to spend less than this.

Result

Our clients had been searching for a suitable house on their own for 8 months and had lost out on several properties through sealed bids, and due to homes trading before they came to the live market. This was made even more difficult due to them being back & forth to France.

Within 4 weeks of Ridgestone Property being instructed, we identified and sourced 3 totally off-market houses which were not on the open market and matched their search criteria. We arranged a viewing tour to visit each property and they absolutely loved one of them located near to Bishops Park. This home was owned by a previous client of ours which was a huge advantage when it came down to fairly extensive price negotiations – ultimately we agreed a deal at £2.6M which suited all parties and saved our clients £250K vs the asking price. We completed 7 weeks later just in time for their daughter to start at the Lycée!
